The aim of this study was to provide a Meta analysis and systematic review on the effect of exercise on walking performance in patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). It was found that exercise significantly increases walking speed and walking distance in people with MS. Walking deficits such as reduced walking speed and endurance affect a persons ability to perform activities of daily living as well as their level of independence.
